Awards ceremony Dresden 2015
At the Annual Meeting in early May 2015 in Dresden, Germany, Europump presented its annual awards. This time the ceremony took place in the splendid ‘Kleiner Schlosshof‘ at the old Royal Palace. Mr Carlo Banfi, Europump President, told his audience how grateful Europump was as he handed official awards to eleven delegates in recognition of their contributions.
A very special wooden plaquette was handed to Mr Guy Van Doorslaer. Mr Banfi said his service as Secretary General over the past 25 years had provided an excellent example of how important it is to be at the centre of the association at all times. Mr Van Doorslaer now runs his own management consultancy based in Mechelen, Belgium.
A Silver Certificate was awarded to Brian Huxley in recognition of his
valuable contributions to the pursuit of Europump’s marketing endeavours
as Secretary of the Marketing Commission
A Silver Certificate was awarded to Doede Greidanus in recognition
of his valuable contributions to the work of Europump’s Technical Commission
and its working groups on the Product Environmental Footprint and Drinking Water
A Gold Certificate was awarded to John Veness in recognition
of his valuable contributions to the pursuit of Europump’s marketing endeavours
as Chairman of the Marketing Commission
A Platinum Certificate was awarded to Frank Ennenbach in recognition
of his valuable contributions to the outstanding results of Europump’s efforts
for better EU legislation as Chairman of the Standards Commission
A Platinum Certificate was awarded to Pierre Plateus in recognition
of his valuable contributions to the association over many years, first as Chairman
of the Standards Commission and later as Member of the Executive Council
A Silver Certificate was awarded to Jay Shah in recognition of his valuable contributions to the cooperation between Europump and Hydraulic Institute as a Europump Meeting friend
A Silver Certificate was awarded to George Harris in recognition of his valuable contributions to the cooperation between Europump and Hydraulic Institute
as a Europump Meeting friend
